About Us
Little Explorers Childcare is a Singapore-based early childhood education centre located in Tampines.

Operating Hours

Sunday & Public Holidays: Closed
Programme Hours
- Half-Day Programme: 7:00 AM – 1:00 PM
- Full-Day Programme: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Parents are encouraged to pick up children before 6:45 PM.
Late Pickup Policy
Late collection after 7:00 PM will incur a charge:
- $10 per 15 minutes
- Repeated late pickup may result in a warning notice
School Fees (Before Government Subsidy)
Playgroup (18 months – 3 years)
- Full Day: $1,350 per month
- Half Day: $950 per month
Nursery (3 – 4 years)
- Full Day: $1,250 per month
- Half Day: $900 per month
Kindergarten (5 – 6 years)
- Full Day: $1,150 per month
- Half Day: $850 per month
Fees are payable monthly by the 5th of each month.
Late payment fee: $50 after the 10th of the month.
Government Subsidies (Singapore Citizens)
Eligible families may receive:
- Basic Subsidy: Up to $300 per month
- Additional Subsidy: Based on household income
Parents must apply through ECDA. Subsidy eligibility is subject to government approval.
Registration & Additional Fees
- Registration Fee (one-time): $200
- Deposit: One month’s school fee
- Uniform Set (2 sets): $120
- Annual Insurance Fee: $15
Deposit will be offset against the final month’s fee with one month written notice.
Meals & Nutrition
Full-day children receive:
- Breakfast
- Lunch
- Afternoon Snack
Meals are prepared daily by certified kitchen staff.
Parents must declare any food allergies during enrolment. The centre is peanut-aware but not fully peanut-free.
Teacher Qualifications & Ratio
We follow ECDA guidelines:
- Playgroup: 1 teacher to 8 children
- Nursery: 1 teacher to 12 children
- Kindergarten: 1 teacher to 15 children
All teachers:
- L2 Certified
- First Aid Trained
- Attend annual professional development training
Health & Safety Policy
- Daily temperature screening
- Children with fever (37.5°C and above) will be sent home
- Child must be fever-free for 24 hours before returning
- Medical certificate required for contagious illnesses
- Fire drills conducted every 6 months
Parents will be contacted immediately if child becomes unwell.
Withdrawal Policy
- One month written notice is required
- Notice must be submitted via email
- Deposit will be offset against final month fee
- No refund for mid-month withdrawal without notice
Centre Tours
Parents may schedule a centre tour by appointment.
Tours are available:
- Weekdays: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Saturday: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Walk-ins are not allowed.
Transport Services
The centre does not provide transport services. Parents are responsible for drop-off and pick-up.
CCTV Policy
CCTV cameras are installed internally for security purposes. Live streaming access is not provided to parents.
Footage is retained for 30 days.
School Calendar
The centre operates year-round except:
- 10 Singapore public holidays
- 3 Staff Training Days per year
Annual concert is typically held in November.
Parents will be notified in advance of all closure dates.
